NixNet is a network of websites and services hosted by the pseudonymous Amolith (me). The main reason I run these sites is because I like to be in control of my own data where feasible. The easiest way to accomplish that is to host the services I use. U make them public and maintain them simply because I want to; the Linux and FLOSS community has completely changed my life and I feel like this is a small way I can do my part and give back.
My bus factor is currently 3. Should something happen to me, there are two additional individuals that can step up to maintain these services.
Amolith's personal corner of the internet is Secluded.Site.

Some technical details
My main server is the AX51-NVME provided by Hetzner and located in Finland. The BigBlueButton server and its accompanying TURN server are Hetzner's CX22 and CX21 VPSes respectively; check their cloud pricing page for more information. My authoritative nameservers are each Slice 1024 from BuyVM and hosted in Las Vegas, New York, and Luxembourg. Daily backups are automated with Tarsnap and ACTS; I keep ~30 daily backups, 12 monthly backups, and manually delete yearly backups when I feel they're no longer necessary.
My process for setting Debian-based VPSes up is described in my wiki, as is my process for bare metal servers and Tarsnap. Other resources pertaining to my setup can be found by exploring the wiki.
