The wallpaper no longer changes since upgrading to GNOME 43.

After some investigating the issue, the following has been confirmed.

  • Issue occurs when using GNOME style dark (picture-uri-dark)
  • File "/usr/share/gnome/gnome-version.xml" no longer exists in GNOME v43
  • Due to gnome-version.xml not existing, it defaults to changing wallpaper for GNOME style default (picture-uri)
